eBay began as an idea, then sprang into a small business in a living room, then blossomed into what can only be described as a phenomena.

There are few websites, in fact few businesses in the world that can look back on the road to success that eBay has enjoyed.  eBay began in the home of Pierre Omidyar in 1995, and has grown to be one of the largest businesses in the world.  It started in a vary unassuming manner, much like an online garage sale, but there was something there that made the company, in fact the experience touch the hearts of all of us.
